Business as usual

The economy may be a little flaky but it’s business as usual at Gossypium.

The media are talking about deflation - clothing prices on the high street have decreased by 10% every year since we started trading. Now this trend is spreading to the wider economy and we’re grateful for our resilience as we’ve been operating in this climate for years. We expect to work hard to thrive and right now the phones are ringing, boxes are leaving the warehouse and I enjoy this business enough to smile deeply every single day.

The PANTS to poverty story

Back in the summer of 2005 a very persistent guy called Ben kept calling us with his idea. He was working in Development & later, for Anmesty International, and he wanted to make a campaign awareness-raising product that was ethically produced, but that also gave something back to charity – eventually becoming in itself, a vehicle to spread the word to fashionable bods all over the world. His product was PANTS to Poverty.
