A Bedtime Story from Gossypium
Gossypium have had their pure and fairly traded organic cotton sent all the way from India on a slow boat (with minimal environmental impact and thus a pleasingly low carbon footprint), our team of UK designers have then filled the cotton with creative expression and lastly, we’ve had the fabulous fabrics made into gorgeous bed linen at an old mill in Somerset - especially for you. You’ll see our new fabrics cropping-up all over the place over the next few months and we think you’re going to love them. The buttons have been hand-made in Nottingham and we’re collecting them like sweets, in jars, to sit on the meeting room table.
We’re offering free UK postage for the next two weeks so you might like to order your fresh new bed linen now We can’t sell enough of our pants, is it the organic cotton quality or the cut that’s pulling all the right strings? Tell us what you like about them and if you don’t like them, then tell us that too. We really want to know what makes you click. Thomas is off to India this week, he’s going to see how they’re getting on with our yoga trousers, amongst other (secret for now) things and he’s taking Ben Ramsden, founder of Pants to Poverty, with him. Ben relies upon innovative small enterprises such as Gossypium who support the Fairtrade movement and are helping to make it grow. Happy cotton shopping! Abi & Thomas |
