Operations Support Manager

Gossypium is a successful ethical business with 3 shops (2 x physical, 1 x Web).
The company now needs to be able to optimise these shops via increase in product range.

The company Directors require support at an operational level to ensure effective and efficient running of the business, this will involve the following responsibilities.

  • Maintenance of stock system ( supplier codes, product codes, product set up and maintenance, re-order levels etc...)
  • Internal communications regarding stock, deliveries and distribution of goods
  • Communication with suppliers regarding PO's, invoicing etc.
  • Forecasting and calculation of optimum stock level and reorder point for products.

Skills required
Organised and methodical with attention to detail.
Reliable and mature attitude.
Good computer skills and to be effective in using office type software especially Excel.
Understanding of accounts, and good with cost management.

Experience
Some knowledge of retail would be welcome.
Some knowledge of stock systems would be welcome.

Reporting
This person will work directly with the Directors and will have to liaise and communicate directly with the finance and sales team.

Hours
12 Hours a week.
Location: Gossypium Head Office - Lewes
