Returns Policy

PAYMENT METHOD

We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro.
All transactions are in pounds sterling (£).

We also accept payment or part payment with The Gossypium Gift Vouchers. These can be purchased from the website or from our stores.
Payments may be made by cheque using our brochure order form. Please use Brochure Request to arrange for a brochure to be sent to you.

Stock permitting, all orders placed by on the web are usually despatched within 24 hours, to arrive with UK customers within five working days. During the busy periods, we will advise you if there are likely to be any small delays . In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and despatch it as soon as it arrives.

Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction is a close representation, a very slight variation in the actual goods may occur.

DELIVERY

Orders received before 12 noon the same day (Monday - Friday) will be despatched the same day. Where orders are placed at a weekend or on an English bank holiday, they will be treated as if received the morning of the next working day.

In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and despatch it as soon as it arrives.

UK delivery - Free Standard delivery for all order above £50

Our Standard delivery service uses a combination of Royal Mail First Class Packet Post and a signed for courier service. We endeavour to despatch orders received before 12 noon the same day (weekdays only). Where orders are placed at a weekend or on an English bank holiday, they will be treated as if received the morning of the next working day. You should receive your order within 1-3 days (with the exception of a small number of remote postcodes). Please note that this service may require a signature to be given on delivery.

Our Next Day Delivery service uses a combination of Royal Mail First Class Packet Post and a signed for courier service, and will be despatched the same day for delivery the following day for orders received before 12 noon (weekdays only and with the exception of a small number of remote postcodes). This service is charged at £5.50 regardless of order value up to £100. Please note that this service requires a signature to be given on delivery.

Europe delivery

Orders received before 12 noon the same day (Monday - Friday) will be despatched the same day. Where orders are placed at a weekend or on an English bank holiday, they will be treated as if received the morning of the next working day.

Deliveries should take between 5-7 days from point of order to reach you. However, please allow 14 working days for any postal delays before contacting our Customer Services.

This service requires a signature to be given on receipt delivery.

World delivery

Customs Information

When ordering goods from Gossypium for delivery outside of the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from gosasypium, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of the contents of your order by product type. For instance, orders containing Clothing or Toiletries will generally be listed in a way similar to the following example: Clothing value £32 or Toiletries value £45.

Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift" but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.

RETURNS POLICY

If the products you order from us don't fit, or if you have chosen the wrong colour, or if simply you don't feel good in our products, just send them back and we will exchange or refund you.
(Please return the goods in the original packing within 14 days of receiving them)

How to return:
1. Fill out the returns form on the back of your invoice indicating whether you would like an exchange or a refund.
2. Please take your parcel(s) to your nearest post office - we recommend that you send returns by registered post. Please always obtain proof of postage when returning a parcel.
We always try to process returns as soon as they arrive. However, during busy periods, please allow 15 days for your return or exchange to be processed.

Important

If exchanging goods and the new item you require costs less than the one you have returned we will refund you the difference.
If exchanging goods and the new item you require costs more than the one you returned an additional payment is needed.
Replacement items will be sent to you free of P&P charges.
Refunds for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original purchaser. If you decide to exchange an item the purchaser will be informed.

LEGAL STATEMENT ON RETURNS

Returning any item within 14 days will be taken as notice of cancellation of your order (or part of your order). Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until the three month post-delivery period has expired. On receipt of the goods, Gossypium will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required. On returned goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold. The contract in respect of sale of goods between Gossypium and you requires that you return the goods to Gossypium on cancellation. The costs of returning goods to Gossypium are borne by you. Orders collected from Gossypium incur no handling charge. Gossypium can arrange for delivery of products to you if required; this constitutes a separate contract between you and Gossypium. In this case, a charge will be made by Gossypium for packing, handling and delivery of goods. Your statutory rights are considerably enhanced by all of this.
