Gossypium pioneered organic fairtrade cotton fabric and products in Britain. We understood that the concept of fairtrade needed to go beyond products, encompassing the company's entire business structure and finance.

Gossypium is a fairtrade organic business from its cotton roots to its cotton customers. In fact, part of the company is owned by Agrocel, their cotton suppliers. 

Gossypium will celebrate its 10 year anniversary this year, and is proud to do so as an independent family and friends business. To maintain its financial independence and organic growth, Gossypium has created a shareholding scheme. 

For a limited time, Gossypium is offering customers and interested individuals the opportunity to become shareholders and members of our Ethical Council.

 A purchase of a minimum of 5 shares offers the shareholder a seat on the Council, advising the directors, and providing Gossypium with a wealth of wide ranging expertise.
